About Us

Bill Hill, owner of Efficient Energy Solutions, was born and raised in Yuba City, CA (near Sacramento). He graduated from Elk Grove High School and later Cal State University-Sacramento where he majored in criminal justice. He then served as a police officer before joining his family glass business. In 1978 he took over the business which evolved into Efficient Energy Solutions.

He transitioned the business to focus on energy efficient products and home improvements. Bill enjoys working with customers to help them with energy issues. In his spare time Bill enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He also enoys senior softball, golf and travel.

Bill has been married to his wife, Karen, for 47 wonderful years. As a highly accomplished nurse of 50 years, Karen recently retired from U.C. Davis medical center where she worked for the entirety of her career.  Her legacy remains as an individual who was instrumental in serving her community through healthcare.

His daughter, Kristina, is an HR executive operating her own HR consultancy firm based in San Francisco. His son-in-law, Arman, manages marketing for the company, as well as holding down a full time job working in cybersecurity. Kristina and Arman live in the Bay Area.
